Describe your best friend. Tell me about his/her look, age, personality ...etc에 관한 주제로 작문을 했는데요.
제가 작성한 문장 중 수정 사항을 보겠습니다.
She does her best everyday(every day) ....
제가 사용한 everyday는 항상, 매일의 뜻을 가진 형용사이고,
원래 그녀는 매일 최선을 다한다. 라는 뜻으로 사용하기 위해서는 Every day 매일 이 옳은 표현입니다.
Everyday
Everyday is an adjective that means commonplace, ordinary, or normal.
Everyday는 흔히 있는, 보틍의 의미를 가지는 형용사입니다.
그래서 everyday+noun 형태로 사용합니다.
These shoes are great for everyday wear.
You shouldn’t wear an everyday outfit to the wedding.
Don’t use the everyday dishes ? it’s a special occasion.
Every day
Every day means "each day."
Every day는 매일 의 뜻으로 부사로 사용합니다.
제가 사용하고 싶었던 본 뜻입니다.
I go to the park every day.
I have to work every day this week except Friday.
Every day I feel a little better.
다음 수정 사항은
(Because we were) in a(the )same class, we got close and knew that we were the eldest.
same을 잘못 사용하였는데요. Same은 형용사로서 명사 앞에서 꾸며주며, 앞에 the와 함께 사용합니다.
다음은 수정 내용입니다.
Same means that two or more things are exactly like one another. We can use same as an adjective before a noun or as a pronoun. When we use same to compare people or things, we must use it with the:
Same은 명사나 대명사 앞에 사용하는 형용사로, the와 함께 사용해야 합니다.
I noticed that Richard and I were both wearing the same jacket.
Not: … were both wearing same jacket.
These two colours are not the same. This one is slightly lighter than that one.
Not: … are not same.
The same as
Warning:
The same is followed by as. It is not followed by that or than:
The same은 as와 함께 사용합니다.
Does ‘start’ mean the same as ‘begin’ in English?
Not: … the same that … or … the same than …
My new car is the same model as my old one.
Not: … the same model that … or … the same model than …
The same + noun + clause
When we use the same with a noun, we can follow it by a clause with that, and less commonly with who or which. We can often leave out that, who or which:
the sam이 명사와 함께 사용할 때, that 절과 who또는 which 절이 올 수도 있습니다.
그 경우 보통 that, who, which 를 생략하곤 합니다.
She’s the same person (that) I spoke to when I phoned their office.
How was the course? Was it the same teacher (who) you had last time?
We can emphasise same with very:
same은 very와 함께 사용하여 강조할 수 있습니다.
This is the very same hotel we stayed at when we were here twenty years ago!
Do the same
We can use do the same instead of repeating a clause:
반복을 피하기 위해, do the same을 사용하여 앞선 문장을 대체할 수 있습니다.She bought her ticket for the folk festival online, and we did the same. (We also bought our tickets online.)
Similar and identical
We use similar if two or more things are not entirely the same, or identical if two or more things are exactly the same. We use the patterns similar to and identical to, a similar + noun or a similar + one and an identical + noun or an identical + one. We don’t say a same:
similar는 대상간 완전히 같지않을 때 사용하며, identical은 대상 간 정확히 같을 때 사용합니다.
similar과 identical은 의미는 다르지만 패턴은 비슷하게 사용합니다.
similar to : identical to,a similar + noun: a identical noun, a similar + one: a identical + oneThis colour is similar to that one.
Frank had a problem connecting his printer. We had a similar problem, so it must be the software.
Not: … a same problem …
She first showed us a beautiful 16th-century vase. Then she showed us an identical one, but the second one was a copy.
Not: … a same one …
Questions 1 and 2 were identical.
